Street Jones and Braxton Anthony had the pleasure of representing RCR in Atlanta for the 2022 Exis Global Summit, the first in person Summit since the start of the pandemic. If you are not familiar with Exis, it is an international commercial real estate organization of independent brokerage firms that focus on buyer and tenant representation. Over 20 partner firms from across the world were in attendance for two and a half days of education, market discussion, sharing of best practices, and touring of the Atlanta market.
While attending, Exis was able to hear from several well-known industry leaders including Colin Connolly, President and CEO at Cousins, Kent Mason, SVP and Market Officer for Prologis, and Robin Malmanger, Director of Talent Acquisition at Atlanta headquartered OneDigital. With the recent acquisition of Duke Realty by Prologis, the RCR team was especially excited to hear from Kent as Duke has historically had such a strong foothold in the Triangle markets.
In addition to the outstanding lineup of guest speakers and panels, the group had the opportunity to tour The Battery, home of the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team, headquarters to TKE and Papa John’s Pizza and regional headquarters for Comcast. The over 2-million-square-foot mixed-use development has been deemed one of the most successful projects in the county in recent years. Go Braves!
