Through a partner tenant representation firm, RCR was engaged by Switzerland based PSI, a multi-national Clinical Research Organization (CRO). PSI’s Durham office housed 35 employees with plans for significant growth beyond the capacity of their existing office facility. PSI prefers owner occupied facilities, so RCR was tasked to analyze the market to source both on and off market opportunities.


The Research Triangle Park (RTP) and I-40 sub-market is a tight market for owner occupant opportunities in the size range needed for PSI and their long term growth needs. RCR was able to uncover an opportunity prior to it hitting the market that allowed PSI to buy a two-building campus in RTP that would accommodate both PSI’s current and future needs. RCR assisted PSI in negotiations, due diligence, building and site analysis, and closing. PSI plans to fully renovate the campus to create a world class CRO facility in RTP.
